Most DIY fitness programs are random workouts thrown together with people convincing you you need to "shock" your body and do as many different things as possible, as quickly as possible to achieve a result, and that's just not true.

What if we used the same logic for other things in life?  

If you wanted to get really good at playing the piano, would you practice a bunch of different instruments as quickly as possible? Probably not.

You'd practice the piano and learn specific skills that would build a foundation for you to thrive upon.

A lot of fitness programs offer no rhyme or reason as to why they are put together in the order they are, and the only way you can measure progress is by scale weight.

Who are we? 

Nancy Newell was the first female coach at Cressey Sports Performance and is now the Director of Sports Performance at The Strength House. Her biceps are are large as her heart, and she can down beers with the best of em.

Lori Lindsey is a National Soccer Hall of Fame Nominee, Gold Medal Olympian, World Cup Finalist, Guiness Book of World Records holder, and lover of cut off shirts and balls... soccer balls.

I'm a beginner. Can I do this program? 

Yes! This program is for beginner to intermediate lifters. We provide demo videos for all the exercises to show the proper form for each lift. Make sure to watch the demo videos before lifting. 

Is there coaching involved with LADYGUNS

No. LADYGUNS is a DIY program with no live coaching. If you are interested in working with us live, check out the Training Team! Next season starts in September. 

What if I can't workout 6 days a week?  

Awesome! LADYGUNS is set up so that if you need to miss a day or shift your schedule, you can do so. We know things come up and sometimes you need a break. It's cool to listen to your body and jump back in when you can.  

What if I dont identify as a lady? 

Sweet! You don't have to identify as a lady to do this program. We just happen to be identifying ladies with guns. This program can be used by all humans, no matter how you identify. 

What equipment do I need?

You need access to a gym with barbells, dumbbells, or kettlebells. We have included alternative exercises for most exercises in case you don't have access to certain pieces of equipment. 

In what format does the program come?

LADYGUNS comes in a downloadable PDF that you can print or save to your smart phone or tablet. You can use the writing tool on your smart phone to easily log your sessions.


How long do the workouts take? 

The workouts all take less than an hour. Most can be done in under 45 minutes. We know you have life to live and want to make sure you can get in, be as effective and efficient as you can, and get out. 

What if I'm not ready to start now? 

That's okay! This program comes in a downloadable PDF that you can keep forever, so even if you're not ready to start today, you can begin whenever you are ready.
